PRIMAVERA BEAT VICENZA 2-1

Nerazzurri U19s come from behind with second-half strikes from Correia and Rapaic to confirm their place as league leaders before the Viareggio Cup

1/15

MILAN – Inter Primavera beat Vicenza 2-1 today to maintain their grip on top spot in Group B ahead of next week's Viareggio Cup.

Dieye scored through a crowded box to put the visitors in front on 35 minutes.

After the restart Stefano Vecchi brought on Jose Correia and within four minutes of making his entrance the forward fired home from the edge of the box to level the scores (56).

Inter sensed Vicenza were there for the taking and moments later Kouame struck the bar after some tidy work by Miangue. Then in the 60th minute Kouame's flick-on from a corner found Boris Rapaic (60) lurking at the far post and the turnaround was complete.

The Nerazzurri can now head to Tuscany with a three-point fillip as they look to defend their Viareggio Cup crown over the coming weeks.
