In collaboration with Opta, here are all the facts and figures ahead of Sunday evening's match at the Olimpico

MILAN - After midweek Champions League action, it is now time to return our focus to the league with the Nerazzurri set to face Roma in Serie A on Sunday. In view of our next fixture at the Stadio Olimpico, we’ve teamed up with Opta to provide you with all the facts and figures that you need to know.

This will be the 171st league fixture between Roma and Inter, with Nerazzurri recording 72 wins, 49 draws and 49 defeats. Inter have won all of their last four matches at the Stadio Olimpico, coming against both Roma and Lazio where they scored at least three goals in each game. Inter have won seven of their last nine away fixtures in Serie A, losing just two – no other team has achieved a better record during this same period. Interestingly, Inter’s next match will be No. 2900 in Serie A.

No other team has scored more headed goals than Inter this season (six), however, no one has also conceded fewer than Roma (one). Inter have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last 13 league games, which is a Serie A record this season. No team, apart from Atalanta, has had more goalscorers than Roma this year: 13. Inter are currently on 12.

Before joining Roma, Juan Jesus made 110 Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri, while Davide Santon also features for the Giallorossi, which is his third Serie A club after Inter and Cesena. For the 27-year-old full-back, this could be his first encounter against his former team. Meanwhile, Nicolò Zaniolo, who joined from Inter last season without making his first-team debut, is the youngest player to feature for Roma this season.

Keita Balde, who recently bagged a brace against Frosinone, also scored twice in his last game against Roma in Serie A, coming in the derby on 30 April 2017. Mauro Icardi, who also scored a double in the last clash between Roma and Inter at the Stadio Olimpico, has played a part in all five of Inter’s most recent goals against the Giallorossi (four goals, one assist). Icardi, who also made his Serie A debut against Roma at the Olimpico (for Samp back in September 2012), has scored eight goals in his last eight away Serie A matches. Furthermore, the Argentinian has been on the scoresheet in all of his last five Serie A starts, scoring seven goals. He is the first Nerazzurri player to achieve such a feat since Julio Cruz in December 2007.

Matteo Politano, who came through the youth ranks at Roma without ever making his debut, scored his first Serie A goal against the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico for Sassuolo in September 2015. He has also been involved in more chances than anyone else during our opening 13 matches in Serie A – 54 (31 shots, 23 assists for teammates’ attempts). Ivan Perisic scored the first of our four goals during our victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in March 2016. He also provided two assists during our last away game against the Giallorossi (August 2017). As for his compatriot, Marcelo Brozovic, he has made more passes in the opposition half (475) than anyone else in Serie A this season. Lastly, all of Matias Vecino’s last three goals have been against teams from Rome: two against the Giallorossi and one against Lazio.
