SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Stefano Vecchi’s Inter Primavera side beat AC Milan by two goals to nil on Sunday to claim the derby bragging rights and move within a point of the top of the table.
The Nerazzurri took the lead in the 36th minute, Dimarco’s cross deflecting off Plizzari before making its way to Correia to head home at the far post. Vecchi’s side were made to wait for their second goal, but it finally arrived in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time as Pinamonti gobbled up a rebound to put the result beyond doubt and secure derby glory for the black and blue half of Milan.
