SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Stefano Vecchi spoke exclusively to inter.it after Sunday lunchtime’s 2-0 derby win over AC Milan.
"This is an important win – a really positive result in a prestigious derby match. After Cagliari drawing and Chievo winning yesterday, we were keen to move closer to the top of the table," began Vecchi.
"We controlled the game well and we limited a dangerous side with lots of quality up front to just a couple of chances. We were near perfect in defence and I think it was the right result. In attack we have plenty of options and I think they all did well today – both those who started and those who came on during the game. The goals from Correia and Pinamonti show that," said the Inter boss.
