APPIANO GENTILE - Cristian Chivu is the guest on tonight's edition of Prima Serata, Inter Channel's Thursday evening interview programme hosted by Edoardo Caldara. Over the next few hours inter.it will be offering you sneak previews of the Romanian's words.
The show got under way with the fans asking if it's true that Cristian could join AC Milan, as the transfer market rumour merchants claimed before the derby: "That was just something the media concocted, and by no coincidence it was right before the derby. That was wrong and totally untrue. Nobody spoke to the club, to me or anyone else about that. And it's not going to happen. It's all made up and I'm not even interested," the defender explained in no uncertain terms.
Having set the record straight, Chivu was asked about another hot topic at the moment: his contract renewal, since his current deal with Inter expires in June. Cristian explained: "My agent and the club have decided they will discuss it in February."
