Winning debuts for seven replacement coaches of Moratti era

Alberto Zaccheroni will be looking to emulate past coaches of the Moratti administration when he makes his debut on the Inter bench on Sunday. The 7 Nerazzurri coaches that have taken over during seasons since 1995 have never lost: Suarez (Inter 4-0 Torino), Castellini (Inter 3-2 Napoli, Inter 2-0 Fiorentina), Hodgson (Inter 0-0 Lazio, Roma-Inter 4-5), Tardelli (Inter 3-1) and Lucescu (Vicenza 1-1 Inter).

Montella nightmare for Francesco Toldo

After Pippo Inzaghi, Giallorossi striker Vicenzo Montella is the player that has scored more in competitive matches against Toldo . The 'Little Aeroplane' has put a goal past the current Inter goalkeeper in Fiorentina v Sampdoria (1997/98 Serie A), two in Sampdoria v Fiorentina (1997/98 Serie A), two in Sampdoria v Fiorentina (1998/99 Serie A), three in Roma v Fiorentina (1999/00 Serie A), and in both of Roma's matches against the Nerazzurri last season.

No Inter victory in 4 Serie A matches

The Nerazzurri haven't won in 4 domestic championship matches - the first time it had happened in the Cuper era. The last negative run of four matches was during the Tardelli reign from November to December in 2000 when Inter drew against Vicenza, Juve and Brescia and lost at Fiorentina. Inter went 6 matches without victory when Lippi was head coach: 3 draws against Lazio, Bologna and Reggina, and 3 defeats against Lecce, Udinese and Juve.

Eight different Giallorossi on target this season

Along with Juventus and Lazio, Roma are one of the three Serie A sides that have scored with eight different players: Carew, Cassano, Chivu, Delvecchio, Montella, Samuel, Totti and Zebina.

Subs lucky for Capello

Roma coach Capello has hit the nail on the head with his substitutions in the Serie A this season. Montella (2), Carew and Delvecchio have scored after coming on to make the Giallosrossi bench the most prolific so far this term.

Roma's second-half sprints

Fabio Capello's Roma are showing the kind of second-half form they displayed during their championship-winning campaign in 2000/01 and the successive season. After 540 minutes of the 2003/04 Serie A, Roma have won 5 points in the second halves of matches, going from 1-1 to 2-1 in Udine, 1-2 to 2-2 at Juventus and 0-0 to 3-0 against Ancona. In the second periods Roma have scored 8 goals and let in none.
