MILAN - Inter striker Alvaro Recoba was a guest on football programme Domenica Sportiva last night.
"Reggina came on to the pitch to try and take something home, but when you concede an early goal it's easy to have difficulties," said El Chino. "We have players capable of scoring and therefore deciding matches in any moment."
Regarding team tactics, Recoba commented, "It's not that Cordoba is better than Pasquale, or Coco when he played, but the opponents have more fear and are more careful when Ivan is fielded."
The Uruguayan also spoke about his own position. "I prefer playing as a second striker than as a midfielder. In today's [yesterday's] position I have to run more but it's certainly not a sacrifice."
On Emre, Recoba remarked, "We didn't realise Emre's strength last year but this year he has shown how much he's worth. Let's hope his injury, like Vieri's, isn't serious."
