TOLDO: "THE PROBLEMS IN FOOTBALL? INTER IS SORTING OUT ITS COSTS."

APPIANO GENTILE - Francesco Toldo press conference (3).

Players represent an excessive cost for clubs. The clubs quoted on the stock exchange aren't doing well. What do you think about these problems?
It's true in part. But no-one goes and asks for a new contract with a gun pointed to someone's head. A club like Inter, which is always very careful, is sorting out its costs. The problem has existed for years - more has been spent than was possible. Bad management is down to the executives, not the players.

Cannavaro has already adapted himself. What's your situation?
We still haven't spoken with the club, but there aren't any problems. Myself and Inter are very happy about the agreement reached.

And if they asked you to make a sacrifice?
There won't be any problems. Money is nothing, only health counts.
