MORATTI AT FOUNDING OF INTER CLUB AT ITALIAN PARLIAMENT: "I'M VERY HONOURED."

ROME - Inter president Massimo Moratti was present at the Italian parliament today for the official founding of Inter Club 'Camera'. The club at Palazzo Montecitorio counts ninety-eight members and includes politicians, officials and parliamentary journalists. Ten other requests for membership were submitted this morning.

Moratti commented on the initiative to Inter Channel editorial director Susanna Wermelinger, who is preparing a special programme to be aired on the club's television channel during the course of the next few days.

He said, "I'm very honoured. This truly is a very special Inter Club. It's stirring and strange to see so many well-known faces united by their passion for Inter. Considering the respect you always need to show to those in politics, it fills my heart to see all this. It means that supporting Inter is a transparent and clean emotion. I'm sorry it has happened after Perugia, but perhaps this is the chance to start over with even more strength and determination. I'm very happy to see that Inter manages to give rise to situations like this."
