BATISTUTA: "I HAVE THE ENTHUSIASM OF A BOY. I WILL WORK IN ORDER TO REACH INTER'S OBJECTIVES."

MILAN - Neo-Nerazzurro Gabriel Batistuta spoke to journalists present at the official presentation of the player at Inter's headquarters today.

He said, "I played one of my last matches against Inter and I put the ball in the top corner. When I'm in form even these things happen. I prefer to remember the friends I have left in Rome and those who have treated me well - they are people who don't make noise like those who criticise me. Perhaps I'm old, but I still have the enthusiasm of a boy and the decision to move shows how much desire I have. Since Moratti called me, I haven't thought about anything else except focusing on Inter's objectives. Inter have chosen me even though there was the obstacle of the Champions League. It's clear that at Inter there are people who still understand football. I will work in order to reach the objectives."
