BARCELONA - Nerazzurri assistant coach Mario Gomez was at the Nou Camp for Saturday evening's Spanish Liga match between Barcelona and Valencia, which finished 4-2 in favour of Hector Cuper's former side. At the end of the match, Gomez spoke to Inter.it.
"I witnessed a wonderful match. There was lots of excitement all-round, also for the sending off of Valencia goalkeeper Canizares," he said. "There was great confusion at the end. All the fans were waving white handkerchiefs, which in Spain are a symbol of protest."
