RANOCCHIA: "INTER IS MY FAMILY"

<p><strong>MILAN</strong>&nbsp;- After recently extending his <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/news/67527" target="_blank">contract with FC Internazionale Milano</a>, <strong>Andrea</strong> <strong>Ranocchia</strong> today discussed his Nerazzurri passion with Sky Sport: &ldquo;I&rsquo;m extremely pleased because Inter has always been like a family for me. I&rsquo;ve always tried to give my all for this club and there were no problems in reaching an agreement to continue this story together. I&rsquo;m proud of what I&rsquo;ve achieved out on the pitch and also how I&rsquo;ve conducted myself over the years.</p> <p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve grown a lot of the past few seasons, and I&rsquo;ve always trained well and helped the team even if I&rsquo;ve been playing less. I appreciate every single moment that I spend wearing this shirt. I don&rsquo;t know if I&rsquo;m the man of the dressing room. I&rsquo;m a professional and I look to give my all for Inter, I&rsquo;m extremely lucky to play for this shirt.&rdquo;</p> <p>Inter are currently third with three games to go until the end of the season, still on course for Champions League qualification: &ldquo;Inter must get back to fighting for titles and we&rsquo;re working to make this happen. We made the first step last year, while this year we still haven&rsquo;t finished our journey. There are three games to go and we&rsquo;re fully focused. Every match that goes by, you have less chance of qualifying for the Champions League. We&rsquo;ve missed out on winning but the performances have been consistent.&rdquo;</p> <p>As for the team&rsquo;s current form, Ranocchia added: &ldquo;We always look to improve in training. We know that the next few matches are extremely important for everyone. We need six points, but also more. We&rsquo;re aiming to win all of them. We&rsquo;ve always played well against the big teams, but lacked a bit of consistency in the others. The base from which we start is good and we can give anyone a game. I don&rsquo;t want to make any special promises to the fans but all of our supporters, who&rsquo;re with us both home and away, deserve the joy of reaching our goal, the Champions League.&rdquo;</p>
