FARO – Joao Mario was on the pitch for 71 minutes as Portugal beat Latvia 4-1 in their World Cup 2018 qualification match in Faro on Sunday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two for the home side, with Willian Carvalho and Bruno Alves also finding the net.
Inter midfielder Joao Mario started the game before being replaced by Gelson Martins in the 71st minute.
