APPIANO GENTILE – Mauro Icardi, Senna Miangue and Jonathan Biabiany all found the net as Stefano Pioli's Inter rounded off the week with a training match against Chiasso on Saturday morning.
Pioli opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation with D'Ambrosio, Andreolli, Miangue and Santon in defence, Melo and Kondogbia as the double pivot in midfield and Biabiany, Barbosa and Bakayoko in support of Icardi.
The Nerazzurri opened the scoring thanks to Icardi's penalty 17 minutes into the game after Axel Bakayoko was brought down in the box.
Djordje Susnjar finished off Veljko Simic's assist on the half-hour mark to briefly peg the Swiss visitors level but Inter were back in front three minutes later when Miangue rose highest to meet Biabiany's corner and head home, as the Nerazzurri ended the first 35-minute half with a 2-1 lead.
Pablo Carrizo took over from Samir Handanovic for the second period and within five minutes of the restart Biabiany added a third, pouncing on the ball after Danilo D'Ambrosio's shot was deflected.
Pioli's men carved out numerous chances in the last quarter of an hour but were unable to add to their tally.
