MILAN - F.C. Internazionale are pleased to confirm that Giovanni Gardini is to join the Nerazzurri as Chief Football Administrator.
Gardini’s main responsibilities in this new role will cover sport institutional relations, player transfer administration and oversight of the sport secretariat. He will start in his new position at the Club on 1 March 2016 working alongside the technical side led by Piero Ausilio in his role as Chief Sports Officer. Both will report directly to Inter Chief Executive Officer, Michael Bolingbroke.
Commenting on the announcement Inter CEO, Michael Bolingbroke, said: "I am pleased to welcome Giovanni to Inter as our new Chief Football Administrator. He brings with him a great deal of experience on the sports administration side, together with a deep understanding of Serie A having previously worked at a number of Italian clubs. I am looking forward to working closely with Giovanni as we continue strengthening the sports administration of Inter, a key part of our overall plan for the Club as we move forward."

Prior to joining Inter, Gardini was Managing Director at Hellas Verona from 2012 until present and has worked at a number of Italian clubs as Managing Director including Livorno Calcio, Treviso, S.S. Lazio as Director of Operations, and Calcio Padova, first as General Secretary then as Managing Director.
