PRESIDENT MORATTI: "I WANT WHAT'S BEST FOR INTER"

"Now's the time to be careful about what's best for the club, that everything is done in such a way that the club benefits"

MILAN - President Massimo Moratti spoke to the press waiting outside the Saras offices earlier.

Read what the president had to say in full here on inter.it:

Have you ever been as emotional as you are today?
"Nothing has been concluded yet, there are still a number of phases to go. This is a time for focus, you can't get caught up in the emotion of it. Then obviously you experience a host of emotions at a time like this. But above all we need to be careful about what's best for the club, that everything is done in such a way that the club benefits. That's what I want."

Will this be Moratti mark 2 or Thohir mark 1?
"I don't know. I'll tell you when I know."

What's your overriding emotion?
"When you do something, you try to do it to the best of your ability. There are hundreds of emotions and we need to try to get things straight."

23 trophies with the Moratti family, two thirds of Inter's entire haul. A story no one would ever want to see end...
"Yes, but in a sense our involvement is ongoing because I'll remain on board. So we'll see if it's helpful, or whether what I can help with continues. Of course other people will show they have talent too."
