SOAVE – Inter Primavera's six-match winning streak came to a halt against bottom-of-the-table Verona, who looked a far better team today than their lowly league position suggests. In the end a draw was a fair result.
All the action came in the first half: Del Piero's 7th-minute penalty (earned after a piece of skill by Garritano) was cancelled out before the interval by De Vita. The second period was a tighter affair and neither side was able to snatch the three points.
