STRAMACCIONI: "FOCUSED SOLELY ON CATANIA"

"It's too early to be looking at the results of others. The most important game is always the next one"

APPIANO GENTILE – Serie A is back. After the international break, Inter are set to return to the pitch tomorrow afternoon, when they host Catania at the Stadio Meazza. "Having the opportunity to work calmly is always a positive," Andrea Stramaccionis stressed in his pre-match press conference. "Taking into account the commitments of those who were away, we've trained well. These are the times when you can focus more attention on individual playing situations."

The Nerazzurri coach was asked if his team is ready for the hectic schedule they have to face over the coming weeks. "We've already been through a similar set of games... And as I've said on other occasions, in cases like this you just take each game as it comes. The most important match is always the next one."

Inter v Catania will be played after two crunch ties this evening, Juventus v Napoli and Lazio v AC Milan, the results of which might be of interest to Inter. Stramaccioni smiled and explained: "We have to focus solely on Inter v Catania, it's too early to be looking at the results of others. If you don't do well in your own game, the others become less important. And in any case, we're still at the beginning. Having said that, I'll obviously look out for all the other results. Who do I want to win tonight? Inter are the only team I want to win."
