INTERNATIONALS: THE DUTCH HIT FOUR

Sneijder and his Netherlands beat Hungary 4-1 in Budapest. The Nerazzurri midfielder played 90 minutes

BUDAPEST - Wesley Sneijder and his Netherlands team beat Hungary 4-1 at the Ferenc Puskás Stadium in Budapest in a qualifier for the 2014 World Cup.

The Dutch took the lead after 3 minutes through Jeremain Lens only to see the Hungarians equalise 4 minutes later thanks to a penalty from Dzsudzsak. On 19 minutes the Netherlands were once again leading when Bruno Martins Indi headed Sneijder's pass into the net. Lens got his brace on 53 minutes to make it 3-1 and then Klaas-Jan Huntelaar added the fourth goal for the visitors in the 74th minute. 

Sneijder played the full 90 minutes on the pitch. Now with 6 points, the Netherlands sit atop the group together with Romania.
