MONTEVIDEO - Uruguay, with Walter Gargano and Alvaro Pereira, drew 1-1 with Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier for the South American group at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo (goals coming from Caicedo after 8 minutes and Cavani in the 67th).
The Nerazzurri defender played the first 45 minutes (he was cautioned in the 36th minute and eventually replaced by Gonzalez), while the midfielder came on after half time (taking over from E.Arevalo).
