Inter will make the trip to Verona to play Chievo in Week 5 before welcoming Fiorentina to the Meazza in Week 6. The first derby of the season will be AC Milan v Inter, scheduled to take place on the weekend of 6-7 October with the Nerazzurri as the "away" team. The following week Inter will return to playing the hosts at the Meazza when Catania visit (Week 8). Bologna then await Inter in Week 9.
