MILAN - Newly promoted Pescara will be Inter's first opponents of the 2012/13 Serie A campaign. The fixture list for the coming season is taking place at the studios of Interactive Group in Milan at the moment.
The Nerazzurri's Serie A opener against Pescara will be played at the Stadio Adriatico on the weekend of 25/26 August. There will be two matches on Saturday (18:00 and 20:45), one 18:00 kick-off on Sunday and the remaining fixtures on Sunday evening.
Three mid-week rounds are planned: 26 September, 31 October and 8 May. The last round of games before the Christmas holidays will be on 23 December, with the action starting up again on 5 January. The season finale will be held on 19 May.
Three breaks are planned for international fixtures: 8-9 September, 13-14 October and 23-24 March.
Derby matches will be played in reverse order compared to last season and may not be scheduled for the first or last round of matches.
Here is the full list of Week 1 matches: Atalanta v Lazio, Chievo v Bologna, Fiorentina v Udinese, Genoa v Cagliari, Juventus v Parma, AC Milan v Sampdoria, Pescara v Inter, Palermo v Napoli, Roma v Catania, Siena v Torino.
Inter will host Roma on Week 2 before travelling to Torino in Week 3. Siena visit the Meazza in Week 4.
