PINZOLO - At a training camp like Inter's in Pinzolo, in an environmentally friendly region such as Trentino, it's no great surprise when you find yourself face to face with three medium-sized Alpine Rendena cows. That's what happened to Signora Milly Moratti as she visited some of the sights of Pinzolo accompanied by mayor William Bonomi and Anita Binelli, president of the organising committee of Inter's training camp.
Typical of the Trentino region, the Rendena cattle have a mantle that ranges from shades of brown to black. They spend 100 days a year grazing in high-altitude pastures and this contributes to the special taste of their milk, which is used to make a delicious local cheese called "Spressa".
