MORATTI: "REGARDING PAZZINI AND LUCAS..."

"It's nothing dramatic when coaching needs influence your position to buy or sell"

PINZOLO - inter.it offers you the second part of the president's statements in full after the friendly between Inter and Trentino Team.

Has Piero Ausilio made any progress towards Lucas in Brazil?

"Yes, but the progress concerns finding out whether or not there is a chance. Now we have to see if we can manage to carry things out. These are things that have to take place by putting everything together, which also means taking a look at our revenue."

However, is it possible to say that Lucas is a player who is admired by Moratti?

"He's certainly a player of great talent, but right now it's also possible to make a few sacrifices here and not take everyone that appeals to you. But we're watching him closely."

Giampaolo Pazzini has put himself out of the game a bit on his own. Can something be salvaged after that outburst?

"I don't know. You have to rate Pazzini because he's a proper centre forward and when he's in form he scores all the time. This we already know. He has a strong-willed character. I'll repeat what I've already said before; it may so happen that there are necessities from a coaching standpoint that influence whether players are to be bought or sold. It's nothing dramatic, but I'm genuinely sorry about it."

How do you feel regarding the views expressed by fans about the red shirt?

"I think it's lovely."

And it was your idea, wasn't it?

"Yes, so at least this way there's someone to take responsibility for it [smiling]. But I'll gladly do so because I find it very lovely and I must say that there's no merchandising aim to it whatsoever. If it's successful then that's great, I'd be glad. But the fans are showing the biggest response to it because it's the shirt that's selling the most. And for the rest, everyone has their own opinion."

Back to the transfer market, it is possible that Wesley Sneidjer could follow Eto'o's path?

"You never know whether to call these things a risk or call them... It's possible that there could be such a risk. As for me, I consider Sneijder to be quite a decisive player for Inter, beyond what can be the proper attention and willingness from other teams."

Will Maicon remain with Inter?

"Well, now they're all here..."

Because they're good.

"If they're good they're the ones we care most about and are the most attached to."

No, Dejan Stankovic is also missing...

"Yes, Stankovic isn't here. We're discussing each of these players with the idea however that we know they're of the highest level. So then you want me to say the same things as before? Fine, I'll say the same things as before."

Do you still have the same enthusiasm that you did a few years ago?

"Yes, that's for you to judge. Now I'm not able to do so. It's the result of the environment that I find here, of the coach without a doubt. But also of these lads that we have. It's normal to talk about them, as it seems to me that each of them has quality and talent that can augur well for the future of this team."

A few years ago you told the fans "We're very good" during a pre-season camp. Now what would you say?

"I don't know if it was a pre-season that preceded a winning season or not."

It was the first year with Mourinho on the bench.

"I can say that it's an interesting and surprising team and having so many youngsters certainly creates a moment of risk, but I believe in sport and in football there's enjoyment in that risk. I hope these lads know how to overcome this experience barrier because they seem good players to me. I share the opinion of those who say that when players are valuable to the coach they express themselves to the best of their ability. "

What kind of Inter will it be considering the coach you have?

"Exuberant. It's positive exuberance allied to the  experience of players who will make sure the others don't get carried away."
