PINZOLO – After arriving in Pinzolo this morning, president Massimo Moratti watched Inter in their first pre-season friendly this afternoon, against a Trentino Select XI. After the game he answered some questions from journalists.

It's obviously too early to be drawing any conclusions but can you tell us what sort of atmosphere you've seen here?
"It's very good. You sense the same young, determined attitude you get from Stramaccioni within the squad. There's a sort of intelligent enthusiasm among the players, both the veterans and the youngsters who still have to prove themselves but who can feel they're under the wing of the more experienced players."
Would you like to assess your transfer business till now, both purchases and sales?"I think we've gone for specific targets so far. Of course there are sales too so you have to think about making them happen. We'll see what the coach feels he needs as we go along. It's a nice brand of football so depending on which players he'll have to choose from he'll be able to choose the brand he wants."
What do you think of the coach, as you get to see more of him and from closer up?
"I think he's shown a lot of enthusiasm since he arrived. He's very dedicated and very meticulous - those are two talents he has because he's smart. Now what I can also see is a heightened sense of responsibility; he's very careful about everything and that obliges everyone who works with him to go about things with the same dedication."
The fans are very fond of these champions, some of whom might not be staying at Inter. Do you want to explain this big change?
"I wouldn't say it's a big change, but something that can happen naturally and it doesn't mean there's any less appreciation. No one is more fond of these players than ourselves so we don't get any pleasure out of going down another path, but it's also an opportunity for them, I think. If it's done intelligently I think it's something that can work out well."
Are you surprised to see that AC Milan might be about to dismantle their team?
"I don't know if that is actually going to happen or not, so I'd rather not comment on it. I must say that from a financial point of view it's a very sensible deal, if I must make a comment. From a football point of view, they will have alternatives if it does happen. From a financial point of view, in this precise moment in time, it's something you might consider and it's not wrong."
What do you think about this worrying moment for Italian football, when so many top players are abandoning [Serie A]?
"I've been hearing that for many years now but every now and then you get a few good ones coming in and you start over again."
Would you like to comment on what Andrea Agnelli said and Juventus not putting the three stars on their shirt, refusing to recognise the way the FIGC count Scudetto wins?"There's nothing new there. I don't think there's been any change in what he keeps saying; he's maintaining the same position."
Do you agree with Zeman that 28 titles are too many [for Juventus]?
"Zeman is a very nice guy, besides being very talented."
