MILAN - As he entered his offices in the centre of Milan, Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti made a few statements to the waiting journalists.
Yesterday Giampaolo Pazzini said he doesn't want to be a part of Inter's plans anymore.
"He didn't say he doesn't want that, I think he expressed doubts over whether he'll be able to be a part of this project. I do think that everyone is perhaps getting a bit ahead of themselves at the moment, maybe caught up in the emotion of finding themselves in certain situations for the first time. We'll see what happens with Pazzini, but I don't think anything dramatic has happened; there's just a bit more emotion going around."
So anything can happen?
"Of course. We have some very good players, including Pazzini. In fact he is an extremely good player. I don't think these things are as cold as it was made out to be from his statements yesterday."
Do you find it pleasing or displeasing to see how grateful the fans are towards Julio Cesar, a player who has given [the club] so much?
"Obviously we're grateful, we're grateful to these players, but things do evolve. I'd be disappointed if people thought it was any different though. I'd be disappointed if people thought we weren't grateful."
Have you spoken to Julio Cesar?
"No, not yet."
What about the dream signing Lucas? Are you going to keep hoping till the end?
"Yes. I don't know if it's a hope or more a target to keep tabs on, considering the times we're in."
