APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri's first training session in the build-up to next Sunday's Serie A match away to Fiorentina took place this afternoon: a 70-minute workout consisting of a warm-up followed by technical and tactical exercises that included fitness-based work.
Maicon and Wesley Sneijder, who have been sidelined through injury since 25 March and 13 March respectively, were involved with their team-mates for most of the session (45 minutes) and took part in the mini-matches focusing on different skills. The Brazilian and the Dutchman ended the session doing individual fitness work.
Julio Cesar and Dejan Stankovic had personalised workouts while Luc Castaignos and Walter Samuel followed rehabilitation programmes.
Andrea Stramaccioni had the following Primavera players train with the first team today: Raffaele Di Gennaro (goalkeeper, born in 1993), Ibrahima Mbaye (full-back, 1994), Joseph Alfred Duncan (midfielder, 1993) and Jakub Vojtus (forward, 1993).
