APPIANO GENTILE – The second training session lasted approximately 80 minutes
ahead of Olympique Marseille v Inter, the first leg of the round of 16 in the
2011/12 UEFA Champions League scheduled for Wednesday 22 February 2012. After
the warm-up, the group underwent technical and tactical exercises. Walter
Samuel took part with his team-mates. Lucio and Maicon alternated between work
with the group and individual work. David Faraoni and Wesley Sneijder completed
personalised training. Diego Milito did work after his return from a case of
the flu. There was a specific programme for Ricardo Alvarez. Juan and Fredy
Guarin both did individual work to regain their conditioning.
Tomorrow morning, again at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina,
the third workout will be held before the departure for France, scheduled for
Tuesday morning.
