FILIPPO: "I'D SOONER CHANGE SCHOOL..."

The young Interista - a guest at the C.S. Angelo Moratti today - spoke about that sign and being an Inter fan

APPIANO GENTILE - "The idea for the banner came about because I'd seen Inter lose a few games and when my dad suggested going to see Inter against Bologna I told him that if we lost I would get teased at school. That's where the idea to write it came from." From pitchside at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, where he was visiting with his family, Filippo spoke to Sky Sport 24 to explain the idea behind those words on the banner that was picked up by TV cameras before Friday's match kicked off.

"I've always known Inter to be winning," explained the 9-year-old, who spent the morning meeting the Nerazzurri players and Claudio Ranieri. "So it always used to be me who teased my class-mates. But today I'm here and I'm happy: I've been given a shirt with Zanetti's autograph and I've shaken hands with Ranieri. It was fun to watch the team training from the side of the pitch."

And when asked what he wished for from his favourite team, Filippo had no doubts: "I hope they start winning again soon because I'm not going to change my team. I'd sooner change school..."
