RANIERI: "I DON'T AGREE WITH CONTE"

"The important thing is that referees and those who appoint them aren't influenced by those who shout loudest"

APPIANO GENTILE - "Now we have to put all of those negative experiences to good use. This has been a strange season for Inter, with its ups and downs, but it's clear that what I want and that what's needed is a certain continuity: for us, for our fans and for our president," said Claudio Ranieri, during the press conference on the eve of Inter v Bologna, which is being played tomorrow at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

"We are always under scrutiny, me included: my motivation, if I want to stay on here, is to give it everything I've got, and that goes for the players too. We have to let people see what we are doing to improve. However there are seasons in the middle of  successful cycles."

During the press conference he touched on two issues that were not connected to Inter v Bologna. The coach was asked firstly about the blue and black scarf Pep Guardiola wore and then the controversial refereeing decisions made during Parma v Juventus. "A blue and black scarf? I didn't see it: did someone give it to him? Did he put it on himself? Nothing bothers me in the slightest, I'm 60, whatever do you think could bother me...?", smiled the Inter coach.

Ranieri was then asked if he agreed with the comments made by Antonio Conte: "Don't ask me that: if they are afraid of Juve they must be absolutely terrified of Inter. After Novara I didn't say anything at all... This year they made a lot of mistakes during our matches. I accept decisions. The important thing is that the referees and those who appoint them aren't influenced by the people who shout the loudest."
