INTER CHANNEL, STANKOVIC: "NEVER MILAN OR PARTIZAN"

"I could never wear the Rossoneri shirt. A goal in the derby? I hope so! I'd settle for a tap-in"

APPIANO GENTILE - "Score one of my spectacular goals against AC Milan? I hope so! But not necessarily spectacular, I'd settle for any old goal, even just knocking a rebound into an empty net [smiling]." That's how Dejan Stankovic replied on Prima Serata to the fan who asked him to score in the derby. The same fan also jokingly asked Deki to give Zlatan Ibrahimovic 'a little kick'. "No, I can't do that," the Serbian responded. "Opponents on the pitch ok, but not that sort of thing. After 90 minutes you aren't rivals any more. You have to know Ibra, accept him for who he is. On the pitch he gives as good as he gets, he doesn't hold back, but off it he's different. It's nice to beat him on the pitch, though, and we'll give everything we've got to try and do that."

"I certainly wouldn't mind scoring against AC Milan," Stankovic continued. "It's about time I got a goal this year: I haven't scored any yet, it feels strange..."

The Serbian was also asked if he would ever be able to wear the Rossoneri shirt one day and 'betray' the Nerazzurri fans. His reply left no room for interpretation: "I've made my choices, until now they've always been the right ones. And I can tell you that I would never be able to join Milan. It's impossible, unimaginable. Sign for Milan, like Partizan: never!"
