He has scored 9 of his 112 career goals against the Giallorossi, beginning with Lecce 2-2 Atalanta on 12 September 2004 (his first goal in Serie A), Lecce 1-3 Sampdoria on 11 April 2009 in the Serie A, Lecce 6-2 Sampdoria on 16 August 2009 (a brace in the Italian Cup), Lecce 2-3 Sampdoria on 21 November 2010 (his only hat-trick in Serie A thus far), and Inter 1-0 Lecce last 20 March (Serie A).
Diego Milito scored a goal at the San Siro in a league match after almost a year; the last one before yesterday came on 19 January 2011 in Inter 3-2. Then came two more goals at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, this time in the Champions League, against Schalke (in April) and Lille (in November).
