The Sicilians have scored in each of their last 12 home Serie A games, netting a total of 27 goals. The Rosanero's last home match in the league without scoring was Palermo 0-2 AC Milan on 26 February 2006.

Palermo's home invincibility

Francesco Guidolin's team haven't let in a goal at home for 233 competitive minutes, since Luque's 37th-minute goal in Palermo 0-1 Newcastle on 2 November 2006 (UEFA Cup). In the championship, Palermo last conceded at home in the 7th minute of Palermo 2-1 Messina on 25 October 2006, Riganò the scorer.

No Palermo draw in 16 Serie A games, 22 in all competitions

Palermo's last Serie A stalemate was a 3-3 home draw with Roma on 15 April 2006. The Sicilians are the only side yet to draw a league game this season. Since that Roma draw, Palermo have played 22 competitive matches in Italy and Europe, winning 14 and losing 8.

Palermo & penalties

Palermo have been awarded five penalties in the first 12 rounds of the 2006/07 Serie A season, more than any other team. The Rosanero have had just one penalty kick given against them.

Guana set for 100th Serie A appearance

If he plays against the Nerazzurri at the Barbera, Roberto Guana will complete a century of Serie A appearances. The Palermo midfielder, who has also played top-flight football for Brescia and Ascoli, made his Serie A debut in Bari 1-3 Brescia on 4 February 2001.

A clash between decisive players

Eugenio Corini and Hernan Crespo are the two most decisive players in the 2006/07 Serie A after 12 rounds of matches. Both players have won 12 points for their respective teams.

First-half goals likely

Palermo (14 out of a total of 26) and Inter (13 out of a total of 25) have scored more goals than their eighteen Serie A rivals in the first halves of matches this season.

Inter unbeaten in 12 games

Empoli 0-1 lnter on 30 April 2006 was the last time Inter lost a Serie A match. Since that date the Nerazzurri have collected 9 victories and 5 draws for a 14-match unbeaten run in the league. Including all competitions, Mancini's men are unbeaten in 12 games, having won their last eight to equal the Moratti-era record set by Gigi Simoni in 1997/98. Inter's last defeat was the 2-0 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich on 27 September.

No red card against Inter's opponents so far

Inter are one of three 2006/07 Serie A teams yet to have had an opponent sent off this season. The other two are Atalanta and Udinese.

Crespo, Zanetti & November goals

Hernan Crespo counts November as his most prolific time of the year. No less than 18 of his 123 Serie A goals for Italian clubs have come in the eleventh calendar month. November is also Javier Zanetti's most fruitful month. Of his 11 Serie A goals, the Inter captain has scored 5 in November matches.

PALERMO - Sunday's big match at the Barbera finished in a 2-1 victory for the Nerazzurri, with Patrick Vieira hitting the winner after Amauri replied to Ibrahimovic's opener.

The result moves Inter six points clear of the Sicilians after thirteen rounds of Serie A games, and four points ahead of second-placed Roma.

Inter took an early lead when Adriano chested a long pass forward into the path of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who volleyed past Alberto Fontana from 30 yards to score his fifth league goal for the Nerazzurri.

Palermo grabbed an equaliser in added time at the end of the first half, Amauri flicking home with the outside of his right foot after meeting Bresciano's headed pass from Pisano's cross.

With goalscorers Ibrahimovic and Amauri both carrying knocks, Mancini and Guidolin introduced Crespo and Caracciolo early in the second half.

Inter retook the lead two minutes after Marco Materazzi rose in the Rosanero box to head a Stankovic corner on to the post. Adriano made a surging run down the middle then knocked wide to Vieira who ran on to the pass and crashed his first Serie A goal for Inter into the top right corner courtesy of a slight deflection off former Inter defender Dellafiore.

Inter survived late scares when Caracciolo stole in at the near post to head a Corini corner on to the woodwork before Bresciano forced a punched save from Julio Cesar with a blistering shot from distance.
