MILAN - Inter.it spoke to Nerazzurri defender Marco Materazzi , who has just returned from his holidays (2):
It's usually thought that the pre-season retreat is the toughest period for a footballer - weeks of sacrifices and intense training sessions. Do you have any free time?
"Very little. Much of your form during the rest of the season depends on the work done in retreat. You work loads, there are two training sessions every day and the little amount of free time that remains is spent resting or relaxing. Contrarily to last season, we'll have to chance to be together from day one this year and we'll have to take advantage of this opportunity so we can make the best possible preparations."
Over 30,000 Inter season tickets have been sold in just fifteen days. What's your message for the Nerazzurri fans that continue to have faith in the Inter colours?
"There are few words to express the affection or recognition that binds us to the Nerazzurri fans. They are always by our side and they really are unrepayable."
