PINILLA: "IT'S AN EXCEPTIONAL STIMULUS TO COME TO ITALY."

MILAN - Inter Channel and Inter.it spoke to new signing Mauricio Pinilla, who has joined Chievo on loan after putting pen to paper for the Nerazzurri (3):

You're set to kick your first ball in Italy, where the level of football is perhaps the most difficult in Europe. Are you excited?
"Yes. It's an exceptional stimulus to come to Italy. It's the dream of every South American player. The best and most difficult football in the world is played here. I can't wait to play my first match."

The last Cilean player to play for an Italian club was Marcelo Salas. What do you think of 'El Matador' and his last, difficult season in Italy?
"He was very unlucky. He tried to get into the Juventus starting line-up but it wasn't easy after coming back from a long period of inactivity. But I'm convinced that Marcelo has the right character to get over this difficult period and refind the form he showed while at Lazio. He just needs to play."
