MILAN - (ANSA) - Inter president Moratti's comments at the end of his meeting with Chelsea president Roman Ambramovich:
"I have met with Chelsea president Roman Abramovich but more than anything else it was a courtesy talk. It wasn't planned, it was just casual, seeing as the president was in Italy for a round of talks with Serie A clubs to establish relationships between the two clubs.
"It's clear that we also spoke about players. He asked for our best men, but Vieri is untransferable and so the team will remain as it is. We spoke a bit about everything, it's clear that we also spoke about the transfer market, but we have our team and we're fine like this. Ambramovich asked for our best players, but Recoba, Crespo and Vieri are our attack and we're fine like this.
"We're paying constant attention to understand what happens with Stam, given that he's always an interesting player. We went to Amsterdam, but in these hours we're negotiating for van der Meyde, and Joaquin also interests us. Which one do I like better? The one that will come to Milan."
