MILAN - Inter captain Javier Zanetti will participate in this evening's match to mark 25 years since Argentina's World Cup triumph in 1978. The match, to kick off at 16:00 local time (21:00 in Italy), will be played at River Plate's Monumental stadium (capacity 77,260) in Buenos Aires.
The 1978 World Cup winners will take on a team of current Argentina internationals, including Javier Zanetti, Nelson Vivas, Juan Román Riquelme, Roberto Ayala, Esteban Cambiasso, Santiago Solari, Gustavo López, Maximiliano Rodríguez, Pablo Cavallero and Ariel Ortega. Gabriel Omar Batistuta will also be present, though he is unlikely to play due to the ankle injury suffered at the end of last season.
