BRANCA: "THERE'S BEEN NO REQUEST FROM CHELSEA FOR VIERI."

MILAN - (ANSA) - Inter transfer market man Marco Branca is planning a trip to Amsterdam in the next few days. The objective is Andy Van der Meyde, as Christian Chivu now seems much closer to Roma.

"Seeing as Baldini works for Roma and he's in Amsterdam and we're here, this is already fairly indicative," admitted Branca, who also denied having received an offer of 50m euros from Chelsea for Vieri. "They haven't asked anything from us, and it seems these fifty million are always the same that are offered for Vieri, and then for Nesta or Davids. I don't think there's 50 plus 50 plus 50..."

The Nerazzurri managers have also met Ancona president Ermanno Pieroni to discuss the loans of Scarpi, Lombardi amd Guly. Ancona are also interested in Nicola Ventola. Branca: "We have had various requests but we still have to decide whether to keep him at Inter or not."
