MILAN - Nerazzurri midfielder Emre Belozoglu spoke today about his disappointment at being sent off during last night's Champions League quarter-final first leg victory at home to Valencia.
Emre remarked, "I'm very disappointed about the red card. The Valencia player kicked me while I was on the ground and I reacted, but I didn't put my hands on him, I used my chest. I'm very sorry for having put my team-mates in difficulty, but we're all aware of our strengths and we'll go to Valencia to get through the round. You give and take blows on the pitch, but when you're playing and not when you're on the ground. We're all highly motivated for the derby. We want to win Saturday's match at all costs."
