INTER CHIEF OF MEDICAL STAFF COMBI EXPLAINS VIERI AND EMRE INJURIES

MILAN - Following the Nerazzurri's 3-0 win at home to Reggina, Inter chief of medical staff Professor Franco Combi explained the type of injury sustained by Vieri and Emre.

He said, "Vieri has sustained a contusion from a direct right-knee trauma. The ligaments don't seem to be affected. A pressure bandage has been applied to Emre because he has sustained a sprain to his left ankle with pain in the posterior external compartment. Finally, Kallon felt pain again in his left adductor. We will evaluate the extent of each individual injury over the next few days."
