JAVIER ZANETTI: "WE EARNED A DESERVED VICTORY, BUT THERE'S STILL A LONG WAY TO GO."

MILAN - Javier Zanetti answered questions from journalists following the 3-0 victory over Reggina.

There was a moment in which the whole of the San Siro erupted because of one of your runs... And if you had scored after...
I believed in that ball right to the end and I tried to do everything to get there.

It was a great performance from Inter today...
Reggina created difficulties for us and they fought right to the end. We're pleased about the good match we played. It's nice to be alone on top, but there's still a long way to go.

It's a triumphant day, perhaps the first since 5 May...

It's very nice to be first in the championship. I think we earned a deserved victory. The team has always believed in its possibilities. 5 May is now a closed subject, we mustn't think about it anymore. Let's enjoy the first place for now.

But there were two more injuries today...
Let's hope it's nothing serious. They [Vieri and Emre] are two very important players for us, let's hope they can play against Chievo.

What do you think about Camoranesi's choice to play for Italy?
These are choices made by him and the two coaches. I'm sorry because a player like Mauro could have helped us a lot.
