MILAN - Salvador Alemany has stepped down from his position as vice president and board member of Barcelona, becoming the sixth person to resign under Joan Gaspart's reign at the helm of the Catalan club.
According to reports, Alemany, who has now taken up a position in Barça's basketball team, was disappointed by Gaspart's intention not to hold early presidential elections. Radomir Antic will make his debut as Barcelona coach against Athletic de Bilbao at the Nou Camp on Sunday evening.
