BARCELONA - French international Philippe Christianval has been ruled out of Barcelona's two Champions League Group A matches against Inter (on 18 and 26 February) after tearing a muscle during the Catalan club's Spanish Liga clash against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
According to the Barça medical staff, Christianval has sustained a myotendinous injury to the biceps femoris in his right leg.
The 24-year-old defender, who joined Barcelona from Monaco in 2001, is expected to be out for at least four weeks.
