TURIN - Inter coach Hector Cuper's post-match comments:
"I'm pleased because we played a good game, especially in the second half. We deserved to win. Recoba's performance on the left wing was determining for us. This victory is important because it means we remain on top of the table. We played well in the first fifteen minutes then we had a few difficulties. But thanks to Recoba we managed to break up their defence in the second half. Vieri and Batistuta did well and I'm pleased with how they played. They make the right movements and they play for the team. The result will definitely come if a team makes sacrifices in every area of the pitch."
