TURIN - The Nerazzurri cruised to a 2-0 victory over Torino on Sunday evening to remain on top of the Serie A with forty-two points from nineteen matches.
The opening goal at the Delle Alpi came three minutes into the second half after a dull but Nerazzurri-dominated first period. Christian Vieri scored his seventeenth of the Serie A season so far with a simple tap-in at the far post after Toro defender Mezzano failed to clear a Recoba left-wing cross.
Okan redoubled for Cuper's troops with his second personal effort of the season in the 56th minute. The Turkish international fired a low shot past Luca Bucci from the edge of the six-yard box after excellent work by Recoba on the left.
