APPIANO GENTILE - Corrado Verdelli's Inter Youth Team are set to leave for Venice after finalising
their preparations for the National Youth Championship Week 13 match at Pinetina today. The
Nerazzurrini head east tomorrow afternoon ahead of Saturday's match away to the Venetians,
scheduled to kick off in Musile Piave at 14:30.
The statistics are in Inter's favour. Verdelli's youngsters beat Venezia 1-0 in the 2000/01 season
thanks to a Chiaria goal, then won 2-1 last season courtesy of goals from Potenza and Pandev.
Martins (2), Potenza, Altobelli and Chiaria scored for Inter in the most recent meeting between the two
sides, which finished 5-0 in Seregno earlier this season.
