CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OPPONENTS – NEWCASTLE MOVE SECOND IN PREMIER LEAGUE WITH WIN AWAY TO TOTTENHAM

LONDON – Champions League Group A opponents Newcastle United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at White Hart Lane this evening. Former Nerazzurri striker Robbie Keane's side fell to a Jermaine Jenas’ goal in the 89th minute.

The victory sees the Tynesiders leapfrog Manchester United into second place in the Premier League and close the gap on current leaders Arsenal, who drew 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield.
