How do you feel at the age of 36? The 'senator' of the Inter squad?
It feels good. It's a great satisfaction. It's an honour to celebrate a birthday in a great team like Inter. It's an incentive to give even more.
Do you feel your age?
Not at all, I have the same enthusiasm as ever. I really like doing this job.
How will you celebrate your birthday?
As usual, on the telephone... All my loved ones are in [Emilia] Romagna, so a day on my mobile phone awaits me.
What relationship do you have with the boys that are half your age?
When I was their age I looked at the 36-year-old 'boys' as if they were light years away from me. Now I have to admit that in terms of character, I get on well with them. I have an excellent relationship with the youngsters and I like noticing that there's no uneasiness when they talk to me. I would also be in difficulty if they found it difficult to talk to me.
How are the training sessions with Castellini going?
Let's start with Mario Gomez. He's great and is a person capable of understanding the state of mind of other people. He always makes you feel at ease. And then let's talk about Luciano Castellini, the senator of goalkeeper coaches. He's an exceptional person who we all get on very well with. He teaches us loads.
