MILAN - Late this afternoon, Inter president Massimo Moratti learned of Juventus CEO Antonio Giraudo's declarations about Inter's behaviour with regard to the election of Lega Calcio president Adriano Galliani.
Moratti remarked, "I'm sorry to read certain statements. They describe situations that have absolutely nothing to do with that matter, which, instead, is clear. I wasn't there that day and three votes were required to elect Galliani as Lega president. In any case, I didn't agree, neither before, during nor after. But I'm sorry to enter into an argument that's of so little use, especially with people I have always respected and who know the reality of these things perfectly well."
