"I've heard from a lot of my new team-mates. I'm pleased to have Cannavaro on my side, I've had
many battles against him on the pitch. The squad is solid. For me an era in Rome has ended and a
new one begins now. I have been put against Capello many times, but like will also be able to show,
there have never been any problems. You manage to bear up to problems in a better way when
you're working towards a goal. You always have to give everything on the pitch. I have been very
useful to Roma, but in the second year I paid for my injury - I had to start walking again. I feel I can
still play two matches per week, but by not being able to do so I will take advantage of this
opportunity to train even better. I'm joining a squad that has already shown it can win. I hope I can be
a positive addition."
